The Development tab on the animal card shows charts of weight and length over time. A separate Feeding composition chart is shown on the Feeding tab above the feeding record list.
Weight chart
The chart displays all weight records chronologically. The X axis is the date, the Y axis is the weight in grams.
A single weight record is shown as a point only. Two or more records are connected by a line.
If the animal has no weight records, the chart is not shown.
Length chart
The chart displays length measurement records chronologically. The X axis is the date, the Y axis is the length in centimetres.
Records are grouped by measurement type:
- Total length — full body length.
- SVL — snout-to-vent length.
- Shell length — for shelled species.
- Other — any other measurement method.
If more than one measurement type exists, a toggle appears to switch between them. The default type is based on the animal's most recent measurement record.
If the animal has no length measurement records, the chart is not shown.
Real-time updates
Both charts update automatically when a weight or length measurement record is added or edited.
Feeding composition
The Feeding composition chart on the Feeding tab shows which food types are used most often for the animal. It is a donut chart grouped by food type. The centre of the chart shows the total number of records included in the selected filter.
Filter the chart by period:
- 30 days — the last month.
- 90 days — the last three months.
- 1 year — the last twelve months.
- All — all available feeding records.
The mode switch controls which records are included. Given includes all feeding records. Accepted excludes refused feedings and helps you focus on food the animal actually accepted.
If there is no data for the selected filter, the app shows an empty state instead of the chart.
