The Animals section lists every recorded animal — both living and deceased. Archived animals are not shown here; you'll find them in the Archive.
Records summary
Above the list is a records summary — the total animal count plus a breakdown by sex and operational status (quarantine, for sale). Expand or collapse the summary by tapping its header.
Search
Type a species or name into the search field. The list filters instantly as you type.
Filters
The Filters button next to the search field opens a dialog with these options:
- Sex — Male, Female or Not stated. You can select more than one at once.
- Animal status — All, Alive, Sold or Deceased.
- Operational status — In quarantine, For sale.
Filters from different groups can be combined. The number of active filters is shown as a badge on the Filters button.
Active filters
Active filters appear as chips below the search field. Remove a single filter by tapping its chip, or use Clear filters to reset the search and all filters at once.
Sold animals in the list
Sold animals remain in the list but are sorted after living ones and are visually distinguished with a Sold badge. A sold animal's card remains fully accessible.
Deceased animals in the list
Deceased animals stay in the list but are sorted after living and sold ones and are visually distinguished — the animal card shows a Deceased badge and the date of death. A deceased animal's card remains fully accessible, just like a living animal's.
