Version 0.5.0 mainly introduces new animal sale and donation records, customer management, and the ability to transfer animals between Herpadex users.

Animal sales and donations

• Animals can now be recorded as sold or donated.

• When recording a sale or donation, you can select an existing customer or create a new one.

• Sold and donated animals are clearly marked in the list and can be filtered separately.

• The animal detail now shows the sale or donation date and the recipient.

• Depending on the transfer status, the sale record can also be cancelled.

Customers and transfers

• A new Sales module has been added for managing customers and animal transfers.

• Customer details include an overview of animals sold or donated to them.

• Herpadex users can be found using their Herpadex code or QR code.

• When selling or donating an animal to another Herpadex user, you can create an animal transfer directly to their account.

• The recipient receives a notification about the new transfer and can accept or reject it.

• When accepting a transfer, the recipient selects the location where the animal should be placed.

• Supported animal data, health records and shedding records are transferred together with the animal.

My account

• Every account now has its own Herpadex code and QR code, which can be used when transferring animals.

• The customer code can be copied directly from the app.

• Account owners can choose whether to share their email address, phone number and address during animal transfers.

• The Licence section now shows the start and end dates of the current licence period.

QR codes

• QR labels for animals and enclosures can still be scanned in the Android app.

• QR code scanning is now also available in the web version on iPhone and iPad.

• The QR scanner can also be used to identify a customer when recording a sale or donation.

Other changes

• Help content in the app has been expanded and made easier to navigate.

• Some parts of the initial setup have been visually improved.

• Action buttons in the animal detail have been redesigned to make available actions clearer.

• Fixed an issue with morph information not being displayed correctly in the animal detail.

• Fixed several other minor issues related to animal records, customers and mobile usage.

Version 0.4.0 brings new ways to manage equipment, attachments and feeding records, while also making several parts of the app clearer and easier to use.

What’s new

Central equipment management

Equipment can now be managed from one central place, and the same equipment item can be assigned to multiple terrariums.

Each assignment can include an installation date, warranty, service date and note. Upcoming service dates are also shown on the dashboard and in notifications.

Attachments for records

Health records can now include photos and PDF documents.

Photos can also be attached to sheds and clutches. Attachments can be named, described, viewed, edited or deleted.

On Android, photos can be taken directly with the camera or selected from the gallery.

Clearer record details

Feeding records, health records, sheds and clutches now open directly within the animal detail instead of using the previous dialog windows.

Going back keeps the current tab, list page and previous position.

Faster feeding records

When recording feeding for a single animal, you can immediately mark the feeding as accepted.

The app then automatically records the full amount as consumed and closes the feeding record.

Improved QR scanning on Android

After scanning a QR code, animal or terrarium information is now shown in a new panel with quick actions.

From the scan result, you can quickly open the detail, add feeding or record terrarium cleaning.

Better insight into animal development and care

New charts, length measurements, shedding records, improved health records and more detailed animal history.

The latest update expands everyday animal records with several features designed to make long-term development and care easier to follow.

Weight and length development can now be displayed in charts. Different types of length measurements can also be recorded separately and tracked over time.

Feeding records have been expanded as well, providing a clearer overview of feeding composition.

A new shedding record allows you to document the beginning, progress and completion of a shed, including whether it was completed normally or with complications.

Health records have also been redesigned, and general animal events have been added. This makes it possible to record important moments that do not belong directly to feeding, measurements or health care.

The result is a more complete history of each animal and a clearer overview of its long-term development.

• Completely redesigned feeding records – feeding an individual animal, an entire terrarium or a rack is now unified and easier to manage.
• More accurate feed consumption tracking – you can record the actual amount consumed by each animal and add further consumption over time.
