Herpadex is available on three platforms — in the browser, on Android and on the desktop. All devices share the same data in real time.
Web browser
Open the app directly in your browser at app.herpadex.cz. No installation required — it works on computers, tablets and phones through the browser. On iPhone and iPad, the web app can also scan QR codes. Ideal when you do not have the native app installed or want quick access from anywhere.
Android
The Android app is available on Google Play. Compared to the browser it additionally offers:
- QR code scanning with the camera,
- push notifications for operational alerts,
- taking and uploading animal photos directly from the app.
The app works on both phones and tablets. On a tablet, a sidebar layout provides a better overview.
Desktop
The desktop apps provide the same experience as the browser app, optimised for keyboard and mouse use. They are especially convenient for bulk data entry or working at a desk.
The Windows version is distributed through Microsoft Store. The Linux version is downloaded from the Apps page as an AppImage.
Customer portal
The customer portal at herpadex.cz is for managing your account, subscription, billing and adding additional users. It is separate from the keeper app at app.herpadex.cz.
Choosing a platform
It depends on the situation. The Android app suits work directly at the terrariums — especially thanks to the QR scanner and push notifications. QR codes can also be scanned in the web app opened in a browser on iPhone or iPad. A browser on a computer or the desktop app is more comfortable for larger data entry sessions. All devices sync — switch between them freely.
