First-time app setup

After your first login, a setup wizard guides you through the basic app setup. You will prepare lists of foods and equipment types to choose from when recording information.

What the wizard covers

The wizard has three steps and appears automatically on first launch.

Step 1 — App language: Choose the language you want to use in the app. You can change the preselected language before continuing.

Step 2 — Feeding: Add the food items you will use when logging feeding. For example: Live mouse, Frozen mouse, Cricket, Vegetables.

Step 3 — Equipment types: Set up the equipment types used in your terrariums. A default list is already prepared — adjust it to match your setup.

Editing the lists

In the Feeding step, add the food items you want to use in your records. In the Equipment types step, adjust the prepared types so they match the equipment in your terrariums.

Add a new item with Add item or Add type. You can edit an existing item. If you no longer use it, archive it; it stays available in the Archive but is no longer offered when you create new records.

The wizard is optional

Continue in the wizard to confirm the language. You can skip the Feeding step with Skip step. In the final step, select Finish later to leave the wizard. You can update the food and equipment type lists in Settings at any time.

What happens after the wizard

After completing or postponing the wizard, you are taken to the main dashboard. From there you can access animals, terrariums, racks, labels and notifications according to platform and account permissions.

Setup order

The order does not matter. You will only need them when adding feeding records and equipment entries. If you are unsure, skip both steps and come back to them in Settings when you are ready.
