Terrariums are used to track enclosures and the animals placed in them. Each terrarium has its own profile with basic information, an overview of the animals inside, equipment and cleaning records.
Adding a terrarium
Add a terrarium in the Terrariums section using the plus button. Fill in:
- Name — required; any name that clearly identifies the terrarium in your records.
- Width, height, depth — internal dimensions in centimetres.
- Cleaning interval — recommended interval in days (optional).
The terrarium code is generated automatically and cannot be changed.
Terrarium profile
The terrarium profile shows dimensions, number of assigned animals, equipment count and the set cleaning interval. Below the profile there are three tabs:
- Animals — animals currently assigned to the terrarium.
- Equipment — the devices used in the terrarium, such as lamps, heaters or thermostats. Manage their details and use in other terrariums in the Equipment section.
- Cleaning — records of completed maintenance.
Assigning animals to a terrarium
When creating a new animal the location field is required. You can also change an animal's location from the animal profile in the Location tab.
Moving an animal
When moving an animal to a different terrarium, the app records the date of the move. Find the move history on the animal profile in the Location tab.
Editing and archiving a terrarium
Edit the terrarium's details using the Edit button on its profile. A terrarium that is no longer in use can be archived using the Archive button. Archived records are accessible to the owner account in the Archive section.
