You can now record animal sales and donations, manage customers, and transfer animals between individual keepers.
Animal sales and donations
You can now record that an animal has been sold or donated.
When creating the record, you can select an existing customer or create a new one. Sold and donated animals remain available in your records, are clearly marked, and can be filtered separately.
The animal detail also shows the sale or donation date and the recipient.
New Sales module
A new Sales module has been added, bringing customer management and animal transfers together in one place.
For each customer, you can view their details and an overview of the animals you have sold or donated to them.
If the recipient also uses Herpadex, you can find them using their customer code or QR code.
Animal transfers between keepers
When selling or donating an animal to another user, you can also create a transfer directly into their records.
The recipient receives a notification about the new transfer and can accept or reject it. When accepting the transfer, they choose the location where the animal should be placed.
Supported basic animal information, health records and shedding records are transferred together with the animal, so its history does not need to be recreated manually.
Customer code and QR code
Each account now has its own customer code and QR code, used for identification during transfers.
You can find them in My Account, where the customer code can also be copied easily.
The account owner can also choose which contact details to share during a transfer – email address, phone number or address.
Other changes
My Account now also shows the start and end dates of the current licence period.
We have expanded and improved the help content, updated the animal detail controls, and made several other fixes and minor improvements across the system.
